Branding for Senior Living Communities

It’s more than your logo.

Gold Egg’s Digital Marketing team team will help you tell the touching story of your senior living community. We’ll refine your vision, developing your facilities’ brand and creating a message that answers the hopes of prospective residents and their families. We want to represent your facility in it’s best light- so your staff will be involved in each step of our senior living branding strategy process.

We’ll help your marketing development:

  • Professional logo design
  • Headlines and subheads that will cement your brand in the senior’s mind
  • Services Listings — Your unique activities show the value of your community
  • Messaging focus

Why should seniors and their families choose your community instead of another local senior community? Gold Egg Digital’s system helps you reach more families with a systematic, proven branding process.

Clarifying your community’s strengths and combining them with your brand will connect you with the residents that are right for your community.

For example, if you have a CCRC or assisted living community with luxury amenities, high quality meals, or a convenient location that is highly convenient, we will emphasize this in your marketing. Your materials will clearly show your potential residents and their loved ones how your community is set up to meet their needs. You’ll show them your living spaces, activities and amenities are what they need for a happy, active experience. Gold Egg Digital’s system will lead your presentation to be clear and reusable across website, online ads, print ads, signage and more.

How to identify and remove fake reviews

The pages that are the most damaging can sometimes be a fake review or even sabotage from a competitor. For example – you might see a review from someone who isn’t actually a patient.

It could be:

If you have client information you can reach out and try to validate the complaint without actually challenging the review- showing your intention to resolve instead of to confront.
  • Someone who left a review for the wrong practice.
  • An angry former employee.
  • A competitor who is playing dirty.

Investigate to see if you’re dealing with a fake reviewer. Here are a few signs to look out for.

  • Repetitive language
  • High number of reviews in short time span
  • Reviews posted in completely different areas

If you believe you are dealing with a fake review, be sure to report it. Most major review sites have a process to dispute a review.

Remember that the moderation process might not happen quickly.

There is something you can do though, when you leave a response that tells your side of the story people reading your reviews aren’t misled. No matter how untrue or triggering the review is for you, remember to stay polite – you are still representing your business.

Three Tips for Responding to a Bad Review

One of the ways to “fix” the impact of a bad review is to have a thoughtful and timely response. Here are a few tips that you should keep in mind whenever you’re responding to a bad review.

One Star review
  • Apologize- Apologize for the negative experience. Even if the review says things about your business that aren’t true, show sympathy to show patients you care about everyone who walks through the door.
  • Mention your commitment to great service– Show potential patients that this one-off experience is not typical of the service you usually provide.
  • Take the conversation offline– Usually, dealing with dissatisfied families is best taken care of out of the public view. If you have a client list, reach out directly with a phone number or an email address where your business can be contacted.

How Gold Egg Digital can help you stay on top of patient reviews

After taking a look at these bad review examples, you can see that knowing what to do to fix bad reviews for your organization is important although not actually that difficult. Responding in a professional manner is the most important strategy.

With hundreds of review sites, your home healthcare practice will likely get a few bad reviews online. The ultimate goal is to start a dialogue that will improve the relationship with your clients and understand what their needs are more clearly.

Call Tracking for Assisted Living Facilities

Assisted Living Facilities Call Tracking and Dashboarding Software

Phone calls are vitally important for lead generation in assisted living facilities. They’re the perfect opportunity to connect with and start a conversation with a concerned family member or a senior citizen that knows they’re in need of a little extra support in their daily routines.

Of course, the goal of each incoming call is to turn that conversation into a new client. Getting there can be complicated, though. With call tracking software, you can get some insight into what’s working and what’s not with your assisted living facility’s marketing strategy.

Gold Egg Digital Marketing can set you up with our favorite assisted living dashboarding software to get you started on tracking all of your phone calls, figure out who’s calling you, and where they heard about you.

Find Out Who’s Calling, From Where

With a tool called CallTrackingMetrics, we can learn from your calls. It’s so much more than caller ID. With call tracking, you’ll know instantly if an incoming call is from an existing lead or a brand new caller. It records and archives conversations so if it’s necessary, you can access past calls with a particular resident or their family. This could be nearly invaluable for your organization, especially if you are taking direction over the phone.

Call tracking shows where someone is calling from, both geographically and virtually. You’ll know their locality, and where they got your number. You’ll know whether it was from organic SEO (search engine optimization), paid search, a social media marketing campaign, or a like a print ad or postcard.

With this tool, it’s much easier to understand how each part of your marketing strategy is affecting overall performance, and where you may need to tweak content or delivery in your campaigns to get better results.

Use Your Recorded Calls as an Archive and a Resource

Recorded calls are great for looking back on past interactions with a specific clients or their families. They can also be a useful training tool for your reception team.

Understanding the elements of successful calls can help you reinforce good habits for your staff. Also understanding what didn’t work in unsuccessful calls is useful information for future trainings. Assisted living facilities tracking software can help you understand what your team is good at and what they need to work on to get you more sign-ups.

You might also learn that your front desk is missing some calls — maybe you have an unresponsive staff member. Or maybe your staff is stretched too thin and actually can’t get to the phone. Call tracking can help you improve marketing efforts and can also give you insight into business operations too.

Know What’s Working

Installing call tracking on the website for your assisted living facilities are almost a necessity in this age of data-driven marketing.

For example, the number of calls that originate from organic search can tell you how well your SEO efforts are performing — whether you’re targeting the right audience with your messaging, or whether you’re ranking for certain terms that may not actually be a part of your strategy (which can inform edits you might want to make to the content on your website). Maybe you’re not getting as many calls from your paid search efforts as you were expecting, and you need to tweak your campaigns to increase performance. Having records of who’s calling and the sources that they’re calling from makes it much simpler to know where you need to make adjustments or reshuffle your resources.

Our team will be with you every step of the way through these business decisions. We’ll walk you through all of the data generated, explain what it means, and help you make the best decisions for your assisted living community.

Utilize Your Data with Assisted Living Facilities Focused Call Tracking Software

On top of a world-class SEO strategy, Gold Egg Digital Marketing’s award-winning team will set you up with senior living call tracking software to get the most out of your phone calls. Website Hosting for Assisted Living Facilities

Our dedicated servers are configured for fast secure hosting for your assisted living facility.

At Gold Egg Digital Marketing, we use WordPress (WP) as our hosting solution. Gold Egg maintains three dedicated servers for our WordPress-only websites. Our special tools work well with WordPress and we avoid using tools that let in spam, hackers, and malware. WordPress hosting for our assisted living facility clients includes daily back-ups and has 24-7 security monitoring with constant security checks of your website.

Within WordPress, we’ll create a Content Distribution Network (CDN) that enables your organization’s website to load images discretely from the content. With this method, we are able to increase the page loading speed significantly. Loading speed is a key factor that Google looks for in its ranking algorithm.

Our monthly hosting includes a security certificate (SSL), which adds an extra level of security that Google prioritizes. Websites with SSL will display their URLs in the address bar with “HTTPS,” and a small padlock symbol. Those without a valid security certificate will have small letters on the address bar that way “not secure”. This can be seen as unprofessional to potential guests, or even make them hesitant to look at your site. Having a valid security certificate is another way that we protect your site, your organization’s reputation, and your rank in search results.
